This year, Selmers is celebrating 60 years of operation as an international supplier of equipment and complete plants for internal and external pipe coating, pipe cleaning, and pipe handling. From their facility in the Netherlands, the company supports sectors including oil and gas, water, wastewater treatment, hydrogen, and CO₂ storage.
Selmers' solutions include surface preparation, anti-corrosion coating, and smart handling systems. Furthermore, the company offers a wide range of technologies for smart handling, surface treatment, and quality validation, varying in scale, product type, and application area.
In addition to fixed installations, Selmers also develops mobile coating solutions, which allow pipes to be prepared, coated, and inspected on-site. This reduces logistical challenges and ensures optimal corrosion protection at the location.
Digitalisation is playing an ever-increasing role. With Factory Automation, a plant management system, Selmers helps customers gain complete visibility and control over their production processes, with seamless integration and data-driven decision-making as a starting point.
The service provision extends from design to installation and commissioning, supplemented by on-site and remote support, troubleshooting, inspections, upgrades, training and maintenance.
