Techport is a public-private partnership with a core team of permanent and freelance specialists, supplemented by project leaders and support staff. Our supporting partners - Velsen municipality, North Holland province, ROC Nova College, Tata Steel and Crown van Gelder - form the Steering Group and provide the basic funding.
In 2023, we presented our Multi-year strategy with a crystal clear direction: forward together, towards a green and future-proof industry.

Behind every innovation, collaboration or event is a team that makes it happen. The Techport Team consists of a mix of programme makers, project leaders, specialists and supporters - all with the same drive: turning ideas into action.
We are curious, energetic and sometimes - OK, often - a tad stubborn, but always focused on results. Whether connecting companies, mentoring students or realising ground-breaking projects, our team makes sure every day that plans do not get stuck, but become reality.
