LV Energy B.V. develops and commercialises vibro-acoustic energy harvesting technology: hardware that converts continuously present vibrations and sound into usable electrical energy. The core of the solution is the WaveHarvester, a compact harvesting system designed to provide energy for low-power applications such as wireless sensors and monitoring solutions.
This can significantly reduce or, in certain applications, completely eliminate reliance on batteries. This lowers maintenance costs, limits replacement cycles and reduces waste streams from battery usage.
The technology has been specifically developed for environments where structural vibrations are present, such as data centres, industrial installations, transport systems, and production sites. LV Energy emphatically does not position the solution as an alternative to large-scale energy generation, but as a response to operational and maintenance issues within large-scale sensor and IoT infrastructures.
The WaveHarvester technology is designed for flexible integration within existing infrastructures and can be applied in diverse environments where continuous monitoring, wireless communication, and maintenance reduction converge. LV Energy focuses on scalable applications within smart industry, infrastructure, building management, and industrial automation.
LV Energy supports organisations with pilots, validations and feasibility studies to provide insight into the applicability of battery-free sensor technology within existing operational environments.
