Michiel de Klein (Innomics) took participants through the power of our programmes Techport Green Incubator and Transition accelerator IJmond. Based on the story of former participant Arnoud van Putten (Bennex), we saw how such an innovation acceleration programme not only helps with sustainability, but also leads to growth, new markets and concrete results.

The ambition to become the Netherlands' first green industrial zone starts with insight. That is why Techport is working on a sustainability monitor for the entire region: a 0-masurement that shows companies exactly where they stand and what steps are needed to become more sustainable. During the session, Bennex showed how data helps companies make their sustainability performance visible - in collaboration with partners such as Rabobank, North Sea Canal Area Programme Office, IJssel Technology and Triply.
Together with our partners, we are thus building a region where innovation and sustainability go hand in hand.
