Techport has been selected as one of the Dutch exemplary projects within the Just Transition Fund (JTF). The national JTF video highlights the Techport Innovation Centre as an inspiring example of how European funds contribute to innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable growth in IJmond.
The Just Transition Fund is a European fund which supports regions in their transition to a climate-neutral and future-proof economy. Within the Netherlands, the programme is implemented by Opportunities for West III. The selection of Techport as an exemplary project underlines the value of regional cooperation between entrepreneurs, education and government in accelerating the energy transition.
The video shows how concrete steps are being taken within the Techport Innovation Centre: from smart innovations in the manufacturing industry to talent development and circular applications. Thus, Techport shows how cooperation at regional level contributes to a sustainable future for all.
