This approach ties in with UNESCO's Futures Literacy Labs, which teaches participants to look at the future differently and explore alternative scenarios.

The Learning Community Motor Driven Systems, a subproject within HIP DIHO, is the network for companies, knowledge institutes and field labs committed to energy saving and efficiency of electric motor-driven systems. Through knowledge sharing, practical cases and cooperation, we make systems in the manufacturing industry, water sector and infrastructure a lot more sustainable
smarter & cleaner.
Within the community, you get access to workshops on smart technologies such as sensors, Edge AI and predictive maintenance, a network of peers, companies and experts to exchange experiences and solutions, and practical innovation projects and field lab cases in which new technologies are tested and applied immediately in working practice.
By working together, learning and innovating, we make energy efficiency of electric motor systems workable and measurable.
We aim to provide a platform where professionals and experts can expand and apply their expertise in practical situations.

The Spacebuzz project in IJmond is an educational programme that introduces primary and secondary school students to the environment, sustainability, technology, innovation and citizenship through “space education”.

Within Just Transition Fund IJmond, SpaceBuzz is linked to Techport. The aim is to reach about 13,000 students in the region through SpaceBuzz and inspire them for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) subjects and technical professions - something that fits well with Techport's ambition to boost technical education, intake and innovation in the context of energy transition and making the region more sustainable.

De energietransitie vraagt om nieuwe kennis, nieuwe skills en vooral: nieuwe vakmensen. Met het RIF-project Sustainable Energies IJmond bouwen het Nova College en Techport samen met bedrijven en overheden aan toekomstgericht technisch onderwijs.
Samen opleiden voor de energietransitie.
Met het RIF-project Sustainable Energies IJmond versterken we samen het technisch mbo-onderwijs rondom duurzame energietechnologie. Als partner verbindt Techport de praktijk van de regionale maak- en energiesector met het mbo-onderwijs, zodat studenten én werkenden worden opgeleid met actuele kennis over groene energietechnologie die direct toepasbaar is in de IJmond. We zorgen ervoor dat opleidingen over onder andere waterstof, zon, wind en energieopslag naadloos aansluiten op wat de praktijk vandaag én morgen vraagt.
