The place where education and entrepreneurship reinforce each other
Over 150 students from different courses worked on concrete business issues with 15 companies from the IJmond region during the Crack the Case event in October 2025.
This second edition was a great success and entrepreneurs from the region are eager to collaborate and interact with students again. Therefore, we are happy to continue this initiative in April 2026.
Retrieved from Wednesday 18 February from 1.30 to 3.30 p.m. We therefore organise special for practitioners and lecturers a closed session. During this session, the entrepreneurs from the previous edition will share their experiences and explain the added value of Crack the Case was for them. We will also engage in substantive discussions about the programme's content, with questions such as:
- Is it possible to use a command such as Crack the Case integrate into your curriculum, both in terms of form and time investment?
- What other assignments or investigations could connect to, or complement, your curriculum?
- What ways are there to match students with entrepreneurs for side jobs, internships or graduate projects;
- What are important reasons for students to attend this event?
- What additional components do you think could add value to the event?
We will conclude the meeting by jointly formulating a concrete action plan towards the event in April.
