Thanks to an award from the Just Transition Fund IJmond (EU grant) and financial contributions from RBA ZKIJ Werkt Door and the Province of Noord-Holland, we have the green light for the 'Strategic HR for SMEs' project.
Actively working on HR policy
This project aims to improve the intake and retention of workers for engineering and energy transition in the IJmond region. This is badly needed, because the energy transition in North Holland alone will require more than 12,000 extra workers until 2030. The current tight labour market, and in particular the shortage of technically skilled personnel, calls for employers to actively engage with their HR policy.
Supporting companies with hr issues
Techport wants to support SMEs that do not have this specific knowledge and expertise in-house. So that they too can make the step towards a modern and future-oriented interpretation of their employership. With the help of the Just Transition Fund, the European Union, the Province of North Holland and RBA KZIJ, we can make collective Strategic HR services available to SMEs starting this year. Over a three-year period, this initiative will help 75 entrepreneurs.
