From vision to commitment
Together with stakeholders, experts, and young talent, on Friday 29 May 2026 worked towards concrete choices and a shared direction in two separate sessions: what is needed to actually realise the Transitie Campus IJmond?
We build on the insights of Day 1, where young entrepreneurs and experts have drawn the initial outlines together. While Day 1 was dedicated to exploring and creating, Day 2 is dedicated to refining, choosing, and connecting.
Friday 29 May: working together
We are starting by establishing ambition and urgency. The task is clear: This is the moment to make choices that will shape the future of the region.
The day is set up as an active working session, with a clear and structured format. We will be working on concrete issues that directly contribute to the realisation of the Transition Campus. Each participant has an active role; not as a spectator, but as campus builder.
This is emphatically not a sit-and-send session. You will be actively involved, challenged, and activated to think along from your role, expertise, and experience. Under the guidance of Techport and Young minds Translate your ideas into concrete actions and next steps.

Programme
Friday 29th May is split into two sessions. You will attend one of these sessions. This will keep the programme concise and energetic.
Morning session: 9:15 – 13:30 (ends with lunch)
Afternoon 2: 12:30 – 16:30 (start with lunch)
We are trying to take everyone's preferences into account as best we can.
