Techport has a clear mission: to work with companies on The Netherlands' first Green Industrial Zone. This means an industrial zone in which companies not only become more sustainable, but also stronger, more efficient and future-proof. Specifically, this involves recognisable questions:
✔️Hoe do we keep a grip on rising energy costs?
✔️Hoe do we remain attractive to customers and supply chain partners who are increasingly demanding?
✔️Hoe can the company continue to grow in the longer term within the space and capacity available?
To find answers to these questions together, Techport is organising on March 4, 2026 a meeting as a first, concrete step: gain insight into where the company is now and what opportunities there are to use energy, water and (residual) materials smarter, save costs and be prepared for future requirements.
Together with Rabobank, Bennex and Triply we show how companies can put this into practice. Not with abstract plans, but with feasible steps that fit the daily reality of SMEs.
The meeting also marks the kick-off of the Techport Sustainability Ladder. With a leading group of companies, Techport wants to set up and sharpen the customised decarbonisation, energy and water programme so that it actually helps to realise our common ambition: a green, competitive and future-proof industrial zone. We invite entrepreneurs to think about this, give feedback and - if it suits - be one of the first companies to start with a module.
Participation in the introductory session on 4 March is free of charge. There are costs associated with the follow-up programme; Techport is committed to working with partners to keep these as low as possible with subsidies and joint efforts. We will explain this further during the meeting.
