From October 7 to 11, 2024, Techport will host the annual Techport Technology Week. The week is all about getting people excited about working and learning in engineering and technology. Choosing an education in this direction gives a lot of future perspective and offers a wide range of professions in healthcare, construction, food, media, energy transition and much more.
Substructure
During Tech Your Talent on Tour, undergraduate students are introduced to technology through inspiring company visits in the IJmond region. Over 25 companies participate annually and collectively host more than 800 students.
This event is very suitable for all2nd grade students, including those who do not (yet) have engineering in their profile package. Technology is everywhere and we want to show that!

Superstructure
On Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, more than 300 students will work in teams to create solutions for businesses, that's what the Hackaton Smart Maintenance is all about.
Students will work non-stop for half a day to come up with solutions to real cases from the business world, all centered around Smart Maintenance.
