SHM Next
SHM Next is a formal partner of the Fieldlab Smart Maintenance Techport. SHM Next is located in YES Delft, an incubator for technology start ups with many spin offs from TU Delft. We have developed a technology where sensors can measure hairline cracks in structures. We are currently doing a project with an inspection company and Techport partner Intures at Tata Steel where we predict potential cracking in (hoisting) cranes.
We are also active with the technology in infrastructure works (bridges) and in ports (quays) and we see many other opportunities for expansion/new business.
Why partner with Techport?
Daniel Tajari, Technology Director: "We would like to share our knowledge with the network. Therefore, we see opportunities to transfer knowledge in the just developed Smart Maintenance Masterclass of the Nova College and several companies."
With its specific measurement techniques and deployment of unique sensor technology, SHM Next is a wonderful addition to the consortium within the Fieldlab Smart Maintenance Techport that focuses on predictable maintenance in the manufacturing industry.
