Samiotics

Samotics predicts when and why machines such as wind turbines and manufacturing equipment break down, especially those that use electric motors. Not without reason, there are some 100 to 150 million of these devices in Europe. By placing a sensor in the distribution box of a factory, the place where power is distributed, the company can see when motors show hiccups in the electricity they take. That's a sign that some time later the device, or part of it, is going to fail. A departure from existing monitoring techniques.
