Why partner with Techport?
A lot is about to happen off the coast of IJmuiden. With the development of the Hollandse Kust Noord, Zuid, West and IJmuiden Ver wind farms, the number of wind turbines off the coast of IJmuiden is going to increase at least tenfold through 2030, and the power generated will be at least twenty times the power generated by the existing farms.
In order to be the base of operations for existing and new offshore wind farms, the region must invest in a number of location factors; available ample space, available workforce and a chain of innovative companies. Techport plays a role in this as a driver of cooperation between education, government and business for a future-oriented and sustainable manufacturing and maintenance industry.
