Strategic HR for SMEs in the IJmond region. Also something for you?

Strategic HR is about the question, "What kind of employer do I want to be?

A strategic HR approach focuses on a total approach to recruitment and selection, employee retention (and sometimes departure), continued development and strategic workforce planning. All in line with your company's strategy and culture. But not every company has the ability to organize this itself.

From Techport, we want SMEs to also be able to make the transition to a modern and future-oriented interpretation of their employership. With the help of the Just Transition Fund, we can make collective Strategic HR services available to SMEs from 2024. Over a period of 3 years there is room for 75 entrepreneurs. At the start in 2024, 20 SMEs can enter. The group of participants is now growing rapidly, so sign up if you want to get in!

What do you get as a participant of the project?

Availability of a strategic HR advisor who works from a relationship of trust to develop HR solutions for your company. This includes:

  • A "picture" of your current HR baseline.
  • A multi-year strategic human resources plan.
  • A recruitment and selection strategy and approach.
  • Individual development and training plans for your employees.
  • Liaison with parties who can flesh out specific questions that follow from the above points.

What do we ask of you?

  • The one-off costs are € 3,500 for the services during the project period (2024 to 2026) The actual costs for these services are considerably higher, but thanks to funding from the JTF-IJmond, the Province of NH and the labour market region, we can really help SMEs move forward in the next three years
  • Techport serves as a sponsor and handles the application. During the project, Techport is responsible for accountability and administration. As a participating company, you do need to provide insight into hours and costs incurred, as is usual within a grant project. From Techport we provide support
  • The arrangements are properly recorded in an agreement

And finally, the time investment. Important question to ask yourself is: are the hours I am currently spending on my HR approach delivering what I need for the future of my business?
