Techport and ROC Nova College go for Learning Community Hydrogen
On Jan. 23, the first day the Just Transition Fund IJmond opened, Techport and ROC Nova College submitted an application to further strengthen and support a Learning Community Hydrogen (LCW). The application is supported by Tata Academy, Hogeschool van Amsterdam, Inholland and GreenBiz.
The main objective is to establish a broad and accessible platform where companies and knowledge institutions in the region can find each other and will share and develop knowledge. The focus is on the safe operation and maintenance of hydrogen-related installations.
LCW network building and facilitating knowledge circulation.
Over the next four years, the parties will build the LCW network and facilitate knowledge circulation between the companies (>50). The new insights and innovations in the field of Hydrogen will be transferred to companies working together with secondary and higher vocational education.
Despite the short preparation time, the following companies gave their commitment to the LCW project almost immediately through a Framework Agreement: Bilfinger Tebodin, BTAC Solutions, Eriks, Facta, Hoogewerf Engineering, IC Beverwijk, Intures, KapiteinsLab, Megacon, Next Generation Machinery, Pentacon, Spruit, Viro and Stemar Engineering.
Participating from the get-go is still possible. Send an email to Theo Koster(theo.koster@techport.nl). For more information, call 06-50245261.
