'Make Meets Wind' innovation table - Review Jan. 22
Techport and Amsterdam IJmuiden Offshore Ports (AYOP) have had a cooperation agreement since last year. Techport and AYOP are both networking organizations based in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. One represents the future of the manufacturing and maintenance industry, the other the future of the offshore wind industry. AYOP is fully committed to profiling the region as the place for offshore wind. Strengthening the education and innovation climate around offshore wind is an important ambition. Cooperation with Techport offers many opportunities for both parties. Techport has a strong basis in the field of smart maintenance. We are specialists in the field of smart maintenance through the experience gained with the Field Lab and the development of a special education.
One of these collaborations between Techport and AYOP is organizing "Make meets Wind" innovation tables. These innovation tables take place several times a year with different topics each time.
Last week an Innovation Table "Make meets Wind" took place. And this time the focus was on crane maintenance. This meeting had participants from 10 different companies. And these were companies from across the chain, who design, build, use, maintain and inspect cranes. During this meeting, they looked at, among other things, the reuse of data in the chain, the acceleration of ongoing and/or new innovations, and new collaborations were created or already existing collaborations were strengthened. The reactions of the participants after this meeting were very positive.
