Doors open for status holders in insulation technology
The director of IC Beverwijk, Hans Kramer, introduced the candidates from Beverwijk to the world of insulation technology. Hans has employees with different cultures working within his company and the experiences are very positive. Even an employee from former Yugoslavia has worked his way up to the position of Chief Workshop.
Herbert Bos of Welzijn Beverwijk, together with Techport is trying to speed up the bridge to work in engineering. Status holders are allowed to work immediately, in principle they do not have to wait for guidance from the UWV, after they have settled in. This offers opportunities for several status holders and companies.
In any case, the nine candidates responded very enthusiastically to the company visit IC Beverwijk. A number of interested candidates were offered to visit the company in the near future where they can gain work experience for a day. This way, the candidates can really experience whether the work suits what they are looking for, but also whether they can use the skills they have gained in their country of origin.
