Transition Accelerator IJmond

This innovation acceleration program is aimed at driving and strengthening innovation within the region and strengthening the innovation ecosystem, entrepreneurship and organizational development. The program includes multiple pathways so that companies can get the right support at all stages of growth. Participation is free!

The following program components are offered:

  1. Grow
  2. Scaling up
  3. Investment-ready
  4. Cases for Change

Grow

This program targets SMEs and startups that already have traction through revenue from (some) customers and/or existing pilots. The company's innovation actually offers a solution to an existing and validated problem. During this program, we will prepare your company for growth by preparing internal processes and zooming in on repeatability and scalability of the product, systems and team. By conducting growth experiments, we will look for a good "product-market fit" and work toward a "scale-up fit.

Scaling up

The Scaling Track is specifically aimed at companies that are well developed in their current market and are ready to scale their innovation to new markets or territories. In this track, you will discover which new markets you will tap into and what you need to undertake to do so. We prepare the organization to actually take big leaps forward, by working out a good go-to-market strategy and individual coaching by experts.

Investment-ready

The Investment Ready Program focuses on developing multiple business cases (financial review and business case), impact value propositions and support, coaching and access to financing and creating the combination of financing and markets "fit for purpose. Several working sessions with the project teams and financial advisors to arrive at a financial model with multi-year forecast (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) and financing needs.

Cases for Change

A Case for Change is a business case, innovation or project with impact for the region that requires cooperation between various stakeholders. A sustainable innovation that creates meaningful change and contributes to the transition tasks in the area. Examples are the realization of a heat network or an energy cooperative that provides sustainable energy for citizens and businesses, the large-scale sustainability of an industrial site, a residential area or the development of a short chain for food. These are often cases with multiple goals, which require network financing (blended finance) and have a long-term focus. The positive impact on the environment is part of the mission and vision.
