Hackaton

For upper secondary school students in the IJmond region, Techport is organizing the Smart Maintenance Hackathon on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. During the hackathon, teams will work non-stop for one half day to come up with solutions to real-life cases, provided by the business community.

After the success of last year, we have decided to give even more students the opportunity to attend. A total of 300 students are invited to work together in teams (of their own classmates) on a fun challenging case.

  • For whom: 3rd-year students vmbo / mavo / havo / vwo
  • Duration: 08.45 - 11.30 or 12.30 - 15.15 (excluding travel time)
  • Where: Sporthal De Walvis, Beverwijk
  • Cost: None
  • Transportation: Bus transportation is free of charge and on request for schools outside Heemskerk & Beverwijk
  • Guidance from school is needed
