Call Techport and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences
The Hogeschool van Amsterdam and Techport are looking for companies that want to work together towards a sustainable future by seeing their own employees as key to it. Sign up for this initiative where we want to take the craftsmanship and knowledge of employees as the basis for new production methods and products and markets for your company. Benefit from the expertise within our network to accelerate that transition.
Background
Research shows that in the energy transition, in-house employees, with their craftsmanship and extensive networks, are an underutilised source of innovation and change within companies. With this project, we use the capacities of professionals within companies in the IJmond region to accelerate this transition. In addition, by making craftsmanship more central, companies will remain attractive for current and future employees.
What do we want to do?
In this project, we unlock the knowledge of professionals by first mapping out existing knowledge in the organisation and then, in the next phase, your employees develop, test and further refine new ideas, approaches and ways of working from that existing knowledge. They will be supported by experienced supervisors from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
Further elaboration and sharpening in this project we would like to develop with Techport companies. Our practice partners, based on your needs and wishes. Benefits for participating companies:
Ø Retain and use internal knowledge. Utilise and retain the strength of in-house employees for new and improved products, services and processes.
Ø Attractive employment and staff development: strengthen employee skills for an engaged workforce and higher attractiveness as an employer.
Ø Access to expertise and funding: Benefit from specialised knowledge in craftsmanship, entrepreneurship, early market validation and funding.
Who are we?
The Center for Economic Transformation of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam brings expertise in craftsmanship, collaboration and entrepreneurship. The University of Applied Sciences also acts as the project's spokesperson. The HvA assumes the costs of developing the grant application.
Cooperation partners:
We seek cooperation with companies in the IJmond region. Companies that want to work on the sustainable transition and believe in the power of their professionals. In this, we also seek cooperation with bodies that can help make innovations marketable. Bodies such as RVO, Stichting CrossOver, the NOVA College and industry organisations.
