However, for the location in IJmuiden, it proved difficult to reach enough candidates. The branch was relatively small and not yet very visible in the region, which made vacancies harder to fill and put further growth under pressure.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The HR issue<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The central question for Hydrauvision was therefore: how do we develop a recruitment strategy that helps to attract more technical talent in the IJmuiden region?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In that regard, not only the content of the vacancies played a role, but also the positioning of the location, the collaboration between various stakeholders, and the creation of a structured recruitment process.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What did they do within the programme?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Together with the recently appointed recruiter, the site manager, marketing and HR, the entire recruitment strategy has been redesigned. In several strategy sessions, a clear approach to recruitment was worked on step by step.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>These include:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>new job profiles drawn up\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>personas developed for key target groups\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the recruitment process aligned between all stakeholders involved\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>marketing campaigns developed to increase Hydrauvision's visibility in the region\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Throughout the process, Techport also acted as a sparring partner on various recruitment issues.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What did the process yield?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The process resulted in a structured recruitment approach and a clear foundation for further growth. By the end of 2025, the first new employee was hired: a Junior Service Engineer, while several vacancies have been posted to further strengthen the team.
