No fewer than 20 students from the University of Dayton (Ohio, USA) visited Techport as part of their Global Business Immersion Program. During the visit, they were introduced to Techport's role as a collaborative partnership and a connecting link between education, business, and government, with a focus on energy transition and digitalisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What was striking was the curiosity and the difference in perspective. A valuable exchange emerged from the discussions: while Europe strongly emphasizes cooperation and long-term sustainability, the American approach is characterised by speed and market-driven innovation. The students were impressed by the European realisation that investing in renewable energy is not a choice but a necessity. At the same time, it became clear that Europe can learn from the market thinking in the US, while opportunities lie there in more cooperation around sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
